Studies: Has studied violin since the age of 4 with Dejan Mijajev. Has attended with great distinction the Conservatoire Royal of Brussels in the class of Yuzuko Horigome and received a unanimous très bien at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Danse et Musique in Paris in the chamber music class of Itamar Golan. He is currently studying in London at the Royal Academy of Music in the class of Rodney Friend.
Competitions: Prize winner at the Belgian national competitions Jonge Solisten aan Zee (first prize, 2006), Belfius Classics (first prize, 2008), Supernova (first prize, 2013) and Forte Limburg (first prize, 2015). In April of 2015 the Royal Conservatory of Brussels awarded him the ‘Kolonel en Mevrouw Bisschop-Matthijssen’ prize for outstanding students.
Festivals: Took part in Musica Mundi (BE), Encuentro de Musica de Santander (SP), Pablo Casals Festival (FR), Cary Cross Currents Chamber Music Festival (USA), Festival van Vlaanderen (BE), Eckelshausener Musiktage (DE), Norfolk & Norwich Festival (UK), Hellensmusic (UK), Buma Classical (NL) en het Klarafestival (BE).
He performs in major venues such as Palais des Beaux Arts (BOZAR), Flagey in Brussels, AMUZ in Antwerp and in the Concertgebow of Bruges.
He is member of the Brussels Chamber Orchestra, the Young European String Camerata and the English Chamber Orchestra ….
Being very active as a chamber musician, he is the founding member of the Kugoni Trio (violin-saxophone-piano) and the Duo Andaluza (violin-guitar).
Clara Evens was born in 1993 in Belgium, in a family of musicians. Although both of her parents are pianists, she started the violin at the age of four, under the guidance of Francis Reusens.
She is playing solo and chamber music concerts in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Luxembourg, United Kingdom,.. At the age of 12 she had her first solo concert with orchestra, performing Mozart concerto no. 3 with the chamber orchestra Vivarte. Later on she played with l’Ensemble Des Jeunes Solistes (Bach, Vivaldi), Ensemble Dextuor (Mozart), Symphony Orchestra Sint-Niklaas (Prokofiev concerto no. 2),…
Clara Evens has been awarded several prices at national and international competitions including a first prize at the Belfius Classics Competition and a ‘medaille d’or’ at Concours European Jeunes Solistes in Luxembourg.
After achieving her diploma with highest distinction at the stedelijke muziekacademie Lier, she continues her studies with Mr. Igor Tkatchuk and Mr. Valery Oistrakh. At the age of 16 she enters the Royal Conservatory of Brussels where she completed her Master’s degree with highest distinction in the class of Mrs. Yuzuko Horigome (first prize Queen Elisabeth Competition 1980).
She has followed master classes with Philippe Graffin, Rodney Friend, Wolfgang Rihm, Cyrus Forough, Stephen Shipps, So-Ock Kim, Joshua Fisher, Sarah Nemtanu,.. As a former first violinist of the Phoenix String Quartet she followed master classes with Josef Kluson (Prazak Quartet), Guy Danel, Marc Danel (Quatuor Danel) and took part of the festival Abbaye du Pin (Poitiers, France).
Clara is the founder of the chamber music festival ‘Classy Saturdays’ (Aarschot, Belgium), which was held for the first time in February 2015.

Yuri Egawa started the violin at the age of four.
Her first teacher was Tomoko Kimura, and she continued her lessons with Myriam Van Iseghem,
Miyoko Uda, and Jo Watanabe.
After graduating Osaka Kyoiku University Bachelor of Arts in Japan, where she studied with professor Takuma Inagaki, she entered the class of professor Yuzuko Horigome, in the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, as a scholarship student of the Flemish government.
She obtained Master degree with distinction in 2014, and followed masterclass with Pierre Amoyal at the International Musical Academy of Cagliari.
She is currently playing solo and chamber music concerts, and teaching in Japan.

Born in Ancona, Italy, in 1997.
He started his violin studies at the age of eight. His first teacher was Gian Pietro Melucci. He continued his studies with Marco Fornaciari. In November 2013 he was admitted to the “Diploma Accademico di I Livello” (B.A.) at Conservatorium “G. Lettimi” (Rimini) where he is concluding his B.A. under the guide of Maurizio Sciarretta.
He attended several master classes given by Chiara Morandi, Alessandro Cappone and Zakhar Bron. In August 2015 and 2016 he attended the Cambridge International String Academy (Trinity College, Cambridge, UK) directed by M° R. Friend and M° S. Shipps. In November 2015 he attended the master class “Residarts: Horigome in Italy Festival”. He is presently studying in Maastricht Conservatorium under the guide of Yuzuko Horigome.
For several years he played, as principal second violin, in the Pisa University Orchestra. He played in “EstrOrchestra” conducted by Ma C. Morandi and in the chamber quartet “Iris”. The latter won a selection to perform, in May 2015, eight concerts in Spain with the sponsorship of Rotary International Club. He also gave some concerts both as solo and in duo with the young guitarist Nicola Dardanis. In July 2016 he played as a soloist in “Musik aus der Oper Pollicino” written by Henze in the Montepulciano 40° Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte.
In autumn 2013 he got the first prize at the European Music Competition “Città di Moncalieri” and the first absolute prize of the “International Music Competition Vittoria Caffa Righetti Prize, Cortemilia”. He got the first prize in the International Music Competition “Luigi Zanuccoli” in Sogliano al Rubicone (May 2014), in the Music Competition “Riviera Etrusca” Piombino (April 2015), in the International Music Competition “Premio Città di Padova” (June 2015).
In July 2016, he got the diploma of High School for Scientific Studies “U.Dini” in Pisa.
Kaoru was born in Japan in 1994 and had his first violin lessons at the age of five.
In his homeland he has been awarded numerous prestigious prizes, including first prize, the audience prize and five additional special prizes at the 2013 Music Competition of Japan.
As a soloist Kaoru Oe has performed with the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic, the Yokohama Sinfonietta and the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra among others.
Since October 2015 Kaoru Oe has been a student at Kronberg Academy and study with Christian Tetzlaff and Yuzuko Horigome.
Born in Belgium in 1994; she started playing violin at the age of 7. From 2009 up to 2013, she studied with Eliot Lawson. In 2013 she was admitted in the Class of M° Horigome at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
At this date, she is in her third Bachelor degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, in the violin section. In 2012 she obtained the diploma of the “Académie des Arts de Bruxelles”. In 2011-2012 she attended the CESS, Athenée Royal Jean Absil, Etterbeek.
Master Classes: She has been admitted to M° Horigome and M° Rodney Friend Master Classes organised by Residart in Cassero di Camerata Picena 2013, 2014, 2016. In 2015 she attended a Master Class by the two Maestros in Cambridge at the International String Academy. In 2012 she attended the Master Class of the Fondazione musicale Santa Cecilia, under the direction of M° Ilya Grubert.
